Yes! Thank you notes! I make my students write thank you notes all the time. We wrote (in print and in braille, transcribed by me) TY notes to the A2 News reporter and photographer and our field trip friends. Most people have never gotten a letter in Braille and it's kind of neat.
I always tell them that I can't overemphasize the importance of thank you notes!!!
