Paying your Ann Arbor parking ticket

There are good reasons not to drive downtown. Parking tickets are one of them. If you are prone to tickets, park in an attended lot. (I parked at Kerrytown and didn't put in enough money into meter.)

If you do get a parking ticket, there are three ways to pay:

  • Mail the ticket in its handy enclosed envelope
  • Drop the ticket off at City Hall (somewhere, not sure where)
  • Pay online at http://www.a2gov.org ($3.50 processing fee)

It pays to pay quickly, since a $10 ticket turns into a $15 ticket in two days and into a $30 ticket in two weeks.
