Thanks to a gift from Debbie Sobeloff, I have a copy of Anne Lamott's "Bird by Bird : Some Instructions on Writing and Life" (Amazon), (AADL). It's a great little book, and when I sit down at my desk with its stacks of paperwork waiting to be attacked I can think
