LIVE ON LIBERTY -- DJ's and HOST's NEEDED 2. LIVE ON LIBERTY -- DJ's and HOST's NEEDED

forwarding this on from griff at a3radio:

We will be simulcasting live (over the internet and on the street) from the porch of Elmo's T-Shirts, 404 E. Liberty, Ann Arbor on nice days this summer! The porch is at street level, about 10 feet from the sidewalk! We have built a portable broadcast unit with a P/A system, dual CD mixer, laptop with internet, lights, and mikes.

We would like to broadcast live as much as we can on nice days when there is pedestrian traffic, including into the evenings on the weekends.

We are just finishing the initial setup and hope to be live this weekend. We'd like to recruit DJ's to sign up for slots. We are going to have talk shows as well as music. We have an online signup for slots.

Training will be required. Interested people would need familarity with a mixer (you can practice at our studio) and have some DJ experience (you can partner with someone with experience too). This is a very fun thing, but also requires concentration and responsibility, as you will be caring for expensive equipment in a public setting.

If you are interested or know anyone who is, go to A3Radio.com and click on 'VOLUNTEER with A3Radio' and fill out the form. Make sure you mention Live On Liberty (LOL) and any experience you have.

We also will be having live music! We'd like to find a couple of groups to test the live scene. No drums sets and you'll need to send a feed to the broadcast board. Let me know (use the link mentioned in the previous paragraph)
