At mashup camp for Superpatron
I'm at Mashup Camp today and tomorrow looking at ways that people who have data that's relevant to local public libraries (book info, or databases commercial or public) can make them more accessable to local library patrons.
There are 170+ data sources available via various network protocols and way more coming. Some part of these are duplicates of what are available in much clumsier formats through gateways.
I'll be organizing (or at least participating in) discussions about the variety of connections to two things in particular: information about books, movies, and music, especially as part of a library; and information about neighborhoods, communities, and cities, with the question "how does this make me a better neighbor" and "how does this make me a better father" being the touchstones.
If you want to follow along, the delicious tag mashupcamp is probably the best way to go.
